Their historical relationship and practices with the land offer invaluable teachings of reciprocity and respect, which have been disrespected by colonization.
The Healing Grove resides on stolen land, where colonization resulted in genocide and attempted erasure of First Nations people, which still effects us today. To show my understanding of this harm, I provide up to two free sessions per month for all residential school survivors and their descendants.
